While in Lighthouse residential treatment, each young person receives treatment specifically tailored to meet their needs along with the unconditional support they need to thrive.

Lighthouse Youth Center at Paint Creek offers a unique environment for residential treatment. The campus is located on 35 acres in the rolling hills of Ross County, Ohio.
On site you’ll find:
- Residential halls featuring individual bedrooms and a large common area.
- Accredited school.
- A horticultural program including two greenhouses where boys plant and care for flowers and vegetables.
- State of the art gymnasium, ball field, basketball courts, volleyball courts, and a track.
EDUCATION
Boys attend Paint Creek Academy, a charter school on campus. They can earn credits toward a high school diploma or participate in GED preparation and testing. Graduates can participate in online college classes. Computer training and vocational training are also available.
An additional learning opportunity is the horticultural program which includes two onsite greenhouses where the youth plant and care for flowers and vegetables. This program gives boys the opportunity to learn how to develop and manage a business.
There are also opportunities for paid onsite work experience to enhance employability skills.

Throughout treatment, young people receive the help they need to overcome barriers and feel empowered to make positive changes for their futures.
The team at Lighthouse Youth Center at Paint Creek provides outstanding evidence-based care, including cognitive behavioral therapy. Services are individualized and focus on a young person’s inherent strengths and builds upon them.
