Funding for the Bridges Foster Care to 21 Program In Jeopardy

In an effort to fill a new hole in the pending state budget, all state agencies were asked to identify ways to save money. The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services is proposing to cut funding for implementation of the Bridges program. The program is scheduled to be implemented statewide in December and would serve an estimated 3,000 young people who age out of foster care.
