Lighthouse Welcomes Thuy Kolik as New Chief Financial Officer

AUGUST 23, 2021 —  Lighthouse Youth & Family Services, a leader in social and human services for young people and families, is pleased to announce Thuy (pronounced twee) Kolik will join the nonprofit’s leadership team as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Kolik will succeed Judy Oakman, who will retire this fall.

Kolik will oversee the financial strategies and functions of the organization.

“After an extensive search, it became clear Thuy was an excellent fit for the position,” said Lighthouse President and CEO Paul Haffner. “Her expertise, including her ability to navigate the nuances of a complex nonprofit organization, is invaluable. Thuy will be an asset to the leadership of Lighthouse.”

Kolik comes to Lighthouse after almost 20 years in accounting and finance management at DAV (Disabled American Veterans) in Erlanger, Ky. She most recently served as its Assistant Comptroller. Before DAV, Thuy was a senior auditor with Deloitte & Touche LLP.

“I’m proud to have the opportunity to be part of the Lighthouse team,” said Kolik. “Lighthouse services are needed now more than ever, and I look forward to maximizing every dollar provided to us to help young people and families.”

Kolik has a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame. She is a certified public accountant (CPA) and a member of the American Institute of CPAs.
