A Boy Finds His Home: Lighthouse Foster Care
We can’t watch this one without tearing up.
Evan is a special boy who stayed in foster care for years. He lived in six different placements and saw at least one potential adoption fall through before he landed in the home of Melissa and Chad Peters, Lighthouse Foster Parents.
He’s thriving. He’s happy.
He’s home.
He officially became Evan Peters in November. As one of his new brothers puts it: “He’s a cool little dude.”
We hope this story helps families see what a big change they can make just by opening their homes to a child in foster care. When kids find the structure they need and find a family where they fit, the rewards are tremendous.
