  • Bequest: Include Lighthouse in your will or trust. This simple and flexible option is the most common planned gift and is fully deductible for estate tax purposes. You may designate a specific amount, a percentage of your estate, or the remainder after other commitments are met.
  • Retirement Plan Assets: Name Lighthouse as a beneficiary of your IRA or 401(k). This is an easy way to create a lasting legacy, often without updating your will. You may choose a specific amount or a percentage of your retirement assets.
  • Life Insurance: Designate Lighthouse as the beneficiary of a new or existing life insurance policy, or transfer ownership of a policy you no longer need. This can be a powerful way to make a significant impact with modest cost.
  • Life Income Gifts: Charitable gift annuities and charitable remainder trusts provide lifetime income for you or a loved one, along with an immediate income tax deduction. When funded with appreciated assets such as securities or real estate, these gifts may also reduce capital gain taxes.
