Lighthouse invites you to become involved and participate in our organization. Both direct-service and special event volunteers will discover a variety of stimulating opportunities conducive to personal growth, and the satisfaction that comes from making a difference.
Lighthouse Youth Services seeks to engage community members; church, civic, school and social groups; and corporate entities. Volunteer opportunities may be short-term, such as one-time projects or special events. We also have ongoing, long-term opportunities that require a minimum commitment of 100 hours. For example:
- 3 months/8 hours per week
- 6 months/4 hours per week
Internship opportunities are available for students enrolled in an accredited college or university fulfilling requirements for a field placement or practicum. Lighthouse requires a commitment of at least 100 hours.
We would be happy to answer any questions that you may have about the volunteer program at Lighthouse. For more information, contact Lindsay Schoeni at (513) 487-7151, lschoeni@lys.org.
