Lighthouse Youth Services is committed to the scientific advancement of its programs, staff members and the professional community. We welcome those who wish to pursue either their own professional education through internships or those who wish to expand the evidence base upon which our programs are founded.
Internships
Undergraduate and non-stipendiary graduate internships are considered volunteer experiences at Lighthouse Youth Services. Students interested in these opportunities

Research
Lighthouse welcomes the opportunity to join with the professional and academic community in serious pursuit of a scientific foundation for practice in the fields of child welfare, juvenile justice and runaway and homeless youth. Current or previous research partners have included Rand Corporation, University of Cincinnati, Ohio State University, the Ohio Department of Youth Services, Virginia Commonwealth University, Indiana University, and Casey Family Programs. Lighthouse Training Institute
The Lighthouse Training Institute works with other agencies and institutions in order to faithfully replicate Lighthouse programs and to provide training and consultation in the fields of child welfare, juvenile justice and runaway and homeless youth.
